How it works and what it costs
You’re billed for one thing only: an item that has been deleted from one of your credit reports. Here is every step, and when money changes hands.
-
Request a free review
Fill in the short form: your state, what you need the credit for, and what you think is wrong. We reply by email.
-
Pull your three reports
You get your Equifax, Experian and TransUnion reports yourself, free, at AnnualCreditReport.com. The bureaus offer free reports there every week. Checking your own reports is not a hard inquiry and doesn’t lower your score. We don’t pull your credit.
-
Get our list and your price, in writing
We go through each report line by line and send you the items we’d dispute, the reason for each, and the price per deleted item. With it you get a separate statement of your rights under the Credit Repair Organizations Act. You can say no, or ask questions, before anything is signed.
-
Sign, or don’t
If you go ahead, you sign a written contract that lists the services, the price per item and how long we expect the work to take. You can cancel it for any reason within 3 business days of signing, at no cost.
-
We send the disputes
We dispute each item with every bureau that reports it, and with the company that furnished the information where that helps. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, a bureau generally has 30 days to investigate a dispute, or up to 45 days if you send more information during that time. Some files need more than one round.
-
You see the results first
Each bureau sends you the outcome and, when something changed, an updated report. We compare it against our list with you.
-
You pay for what came off
An item is billed only after an updated report shows it deleted. Your written price list says how an item reported by more than one bureau is counted. Anything that stays, gets verified or is only updated is not billed.
What you pay for
- Each item deleted from a credit report, at the per-item price in your contract
What you don’t pay for
- A setup, enrollment or “audit” fee
- A monthly fee
- Items that stay on your report
- The free review, or saying no afterwards
Why we bill this way
Federal law doesn’t allow a credit repair company to take money before it has done the work it promised. Billing per deleted item keeps that simple: there’s nothing to pay until there’s a result you can see on your own report.
What we can’t promise
We can’t promise that a specific item will come off, how many will, or what your score will be afterwards. Accurate, current and verifiable information can stay on your report for as long as the law allows, and no one can lawfully remove it. What we can tell you is which items look worth disputing and why.
